In Waukesha, Wisconsin, a man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old female student when the man was a student teacher in the area. | Riverside Memorial Day DUI Checkpoint Leads to 93 Citations |

In Riverside, California, police report that their DUI checkpoint was successful. Officers say that during late evening hours on Friday, one person was placed under arrest for driving under the influence (DUI).
Police also report that their holiday checkpoint led to 93 citations being written and 74 vehicles being impounded. 58 drivers were discovered with revoked or suspended licenses. Officers were stationed on Van Buren Boulevard and Morris Street throughout the three day weekend.
They say that 2,830 vehicles drove through the DUI checkpoint, which was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety. Police managed to screen 1,110 drivers.

Wilson Chandler of the Knicks has been charged with criminal possession of marijuana after being stopped by police in Queens.
Police pulled Chandler over for driving without his headlights when they detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Both Chandler and his passenger admitted that they had been smoking marijuana.

In Iowa City, police report that they have charged an area man with indecent exposure. The criminal charges were brought against 67 year old James Russell Hurt after witnesses saw him masturbating in front of an Arby's restaurant.
The incident occurred on 1117 First Avenue on Friday evening. A witness told officers that Hirt was laying in the grass in front of the dining establishment at Gateway One Plaza. Other witnesses said that Hirt had his shorts pulled all the way down and that he tried to make eye contact with the restaurant's patrons as he touched himself.
Even though Hirt tried to flee the scene, police managed to track him down. He denied allegations that he was acting indecently in public. Police placed him under arrest and took him to a local jail where he was held on a $2,500 bond.

| Man Arrested for Stealing a Lexus |

In San Jacinto, California, a man who was suspected of stealing a Lexus was arrested by police officers on Tuesday. However, before police were able to arrest the man, he led them on a chase from San Jacinto to Hemet.
The man, 21 year old Ruben Almanza, was driving with a teenage passenger at the time of the chase. Both were taken into police custody before 1:00 PM. Police say that they tried to stop the 2006 Lexus sedan after it violated vehicle codes. Instead of stopping, Almanza initiated a chase.
On May 19th, the owner of the Lexus reported it stolen.

Reports are circulating that Los Angeles Kings assistant coach, Mark Hardy, was arrested in Washington, D.C. on Friday. Hardy was accused of sexually assaulting a female relative, which prompted his arrest.

| 16 Year Old Charged with Rape of Elderly Citizen |

In Charlotte, North Carolina, police say they have found the man who raped an elderly citizen. According to local officers, the rapist was a teenager who broke into the home of an 83 year old woman and raped her. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening.
The victim, who lived west of North Graham Street, called police at 10 PM on Wednesday night. She said that a teenager had forced his way into her home and then raped her.

Surveillance photos have been released of the pair, two men who appear to be Hispanic and in their late teens or early twenties. The photos show the pair moments before approaching a victim. Lt. Paul Vernon commented, "It's quite eerie to watch. It's like watching the wolf eye the fawn."
Police suspect the two men of robbing a man in a parking lot at 1:30am on April 25, then robbing a woman just a few blocks away shortly thereafter. The pair is also suspected in the armed robbery of a 26-year-old woman on South Broadway on April 28 and in the robbery of a 30-year-old man in a residential area of Chinatown on May 10. The victim of the latest robbery said that the suspects were in a black Honda.

News sources report that a couple that was accused of a stealing from a home in North California will stand trial for first degree burglary. The family who owned the home is reported to have died in a tragic car accident.

The Binghamton, New York police have arrested and charged three people in connection with a theft that occurred in March. The theft occurred at Tom's Coffee, Cards & Gifts where $3,300 worth of jewelry was stolen.

| Antelope Valley Man Charged with Exposing Himself to Multiple Women |

Terrance Smith, 21, of Antelope Valley has been arrested on charges of exposing himself to over a dozen women and holding a woman against her will to sexually assault her. This is not Smith's first brush with the law.
Deputies found Smith by monitoring the area in which the crimes occurred and identifying several men who matched the description given by the victims. The victims then picked Smith out of a photo lineup.
He allegedly exposed himself to women from age 13 to 58. Smith apparently targeted women who were alone in the common areas of apartment buildings. Smith's charge of sexual assault came from one woman who was assaulted in her apartment complex laundry room.
If convicted, Smith faces thirteen years in state prison and additional penalties, like probation, community service and monetary fines.
