Police in Los Angeles are on the lookout for additional victims of a "life coach" that allegedly sexually assaulted his clients. According to officers, 55 year old Michael Keith Martin of Marina del Rey, was arrested for suspicion of sexual assault this week.
Los Angeles law enforcement officials say that several female victims reported that during "therapy sessions" Martin had sexually assaulted them. Authorities claim that Martin tells clients he is a spiritual advisor that is skilled in alternative medicine.
According to the victims, Martin would meditate with his clients and then fondle them against their will. Some of the victims said they were members of a Culver City church that Martin also attended.
At this time, Martin is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

| Authorities Seize 1,800 Marijuana Plants from Home |

In Fontana, California, local police officers report that they seized 1,800 marijuana plants from a home in San Bernardino County. According to police, the plants are worth $12 million.
After the seizure, the Los Angeles County sheriff's department issues a release. It said that the Asian Gang Team served a warrant on the home and arrested 38 year old Lanson Quin. Officials said the home was located in a "quiet, well-groomed neighborhood". The warrant was served on Friday and police found a multitude of marijuana plants along with water and lighting systems for cultivation.
Prior to the arrest, police had received a tip from an anonymous caller in San Gabriel Valley. They then obtained a warrant from a judge in Los Angeles County.

| Jury Convicts Man of Murder in California |

In the state of Colorado, federal agents and local law enforcement officers report that they have arrested 16 suspected gang members. The 16 defendants were arrested on charges of drug crimes and weapon crimes.
According to a news release, the defendants that were arrested were among 46 people indicted on federal charges of illegal gun possession and drug distribution. A spokes person with the justice department said that 8 were considered fugitives and the others have been arrested since April or were in police custody for other criminal charges.
A 30 month investigation by law enforcement officers led to the seizure of $500,000 worth of amphetamines, as well as the seizure of cocaine, marijuana, mushrooms and 21 illegal weapons.
Authorities say that most of the people that were charged were from Greeley, Colorado and 3 were from the state of California. According to FBI Special Agent in Charge James Davis, those that were indicted are, "some of the nation's most notorious violent street offenders."

| Pasadena Teacher Charged with Sex Crimes against Students |

In Pasadena, California, a teacher stands accused of sexual assault. News sources report that a Duarte elementary school teacher, 41 year old Wade Joseph Bughman, stands accused of sexually abusing seven female students over the time span of 10 years.
Bughman taught sixth grade at Beardslee Elementary School and last week, he was arrested for a felony complaint. He is expected to be arraigned this week and prosecutors plan to request that his bail amount be set at $2.1 million.
After his arrest, Bughman was charged with four counts of continuous sexual abuse and lewd act upon a child, one count each of oral copulation with a person under the age of 14, forcible rape and sexual penetration using a forcible object. The abuse allegedly occurred between 1997 and April of 2010.

The Orange County sheriff's office reports that a man who refused to identify himself was arrested last Tuesday. Before the arresting officers could take the man to jail to be booked, the man told the officers that he had swallowed narcotics. In Murrieta, California, a father has been charged with multiple felonies. The father, 45 year old William Atwood Sr., is from Riverside and is accused of using a stun gun on a man who sent his teenage daughter a risqué cell phone picture.

In Washington, the U.S. Marshals Service announced that it had finally captured 73 year old Paul Clouston, a convicted cop killer. The arrest occurred on Tuesday and was a great victory for police as Clouston was one of America's 15 Most Wanted fugitives.
In 1972, Clouston murdered a police officer. He also served time in jail for molesting young children in Williamsburg from 1991 to 2005. Joseph M. Stutsman has been sentenced in the burglary case of a gun shop in Olathe, Kansas. He has received 27 months in federal prison according to the U.S attorney handling the case.

| Man Involved in Two DUI Accidents 10 Minute Time Span |

According to police in Contra Costa, California, a man was arrested after he caused two DUI accidents in the period of ten minutes. Police say that Jason Ljepava's first crash occurred on Monday night at approximately 9:10 PM. During the accident, Ljepava hit a parked vehicle and a nearby fence.
The second DUI accident occurred at 9:20 PM, merely ten minutes later, while Ljepava ran over the fence. He then crashed into several small trees before hitting the corner of a house, moving it one foot.
Sgt. Stephen Price told reporters that Ljepava was, "involved in both collisions." The owner of the house that Ljepava crashed into said that he was startled when he heard the vehicle coming toward his house. Bernie Schindler said, "It sounded like an airplane hit our roof."
Following the two accidents, Ljepava was arrested for driving under the influence and will most likely face criminal charges.

| Former Letter Carrier Charged with Theft |

A retired postal worker in Algonac, Michigan has been charged with failing to deliver 3,477 pieces of mail on his former routes. Earl Hicks was charged after the mail was found in a shed where he once lived.
The letters were from the early 1990s and were most likely not delivered because Hicks would just not be able to deliver them all during his schedule and feared being fired if he returned the mail to the post office.
The letters will now be delivered once prosecutors approve their disposition. Details about consequences Hicks will face are unavailable at this time.

| Man Gets 40 Years for Sexual Assault |

This week, a 36 year old man by the name of Christopher Edward Taylor received a sentence of 40 year imprisonment for his sex crime charges. Taylor was sentenced for a sexual assault that occurred in March 2009.
According to reports, the victim had left an Edgewater restaurant after her shift was over. While making her way to her vehicle, Taylor held her at gunpoint and forced his way into her car. He then sexually assaulted the woman, forced her to drive him to an ATM and give him money.
In March, Taylor entered a plea for his first-degree sexual assault charge as well as handgun violation. He admitted that he was guilty because prosecutors had enough evidence to convict him. In exchange for his guilty plea, his other criminal charges were dropped.
Judge Paul A. Hackner said that Taylor must register as a sex offender and also serve five years of supervised probation once he is finished serving his sentence.

Pasco, Washington police believe that they have arrested someone in connection with a domestic violence death that occurred early one morning.

| Students Face Gun Possession Charges |

Four students in Spirit Lake, Idaho is now facing gun possession charges, a misdemeanor charge. Police are reporting that they do not believe that the students had any malicious intent behind their actions, but were just showing off the weapon.
